    A new client and I sip cappuccinos and chat about an idea to open a new salon in Buffalo, NY. But this isn’t just any salon. It’s a destination; a place you can go to get away for a while. Not only will this salon provide amazing hair care, but it will focus on a holistic mind-body experience. Dreamy.

    SET THE MOOD

    We establish exactly what Bodhi Lotus Salon should look and sound like by creating a mood board and style guide that answers the important questions, like what are the three words you’d use to best describe your brand? And what colors would you like to be the cornerstones of your brand?

    GET ONLINE

    While the client searches for a physical space, it’s important to establish a digital presence as soon as possible. So, we focus on creating a website that’s just as unique as the products and services the salon will offer. The website we create is clear, consistent, easy-to-navigate, and full of whimsical personality that matches the Bodhi Lotus Salon brand.

  • Step 4

    BUILD THE HYPE

    The client has located a physical space and construction is underway, so we’re in that unique “coming soon” phase where it’s important to get people excited and establish a following. We use this time to build up the brand and generate enthusiasm for the grand opening through thoughtful Instagram & Facebook posts.

  • Step 5

    COMMUNICATION IS KEY

    Because the client is relocating, it’s important to make sure their current clientele is in the loop about the upcoming changes, and excited about this new endeavor. We achieve this through a series of communications like direct mailers and emails.

  • Step 6

    SETTING UP SHOP

    Construction is almost complete and it’s time for the finishing touches. The client wants to make sure there is plenty of information at the front desk, so we get to work creating a brochure that outlines all the unique services you can receive at Bodhi Lotus Salon.

  • Step 7

    PARTY TIME

    It’s official, Bodhi Lotus Salon is open for business! Obviously, this means a grand opening celebration is in order, so we bust a move to make sure invites are distributed ahead of time via email, Facebook, and Instagram. Cheers to a successful launch! 🥂
